Free Printable PenPal Tracker: AHG Resource

We are so happy September has finally arrived! It has brought some sense of normality as we have begun regular American Heritage Girls and Trail Life USA troop meetings. In light of this, I wanted to share a useful resource that girls could use for AHG. I felt that this would be perfect, a free printable penpal tracker.

As you may know, my daughter has been using a three-ring binder for record keeping all her badge work. To add to it, I made her a printable to help stay on track for her 2020 PenPal program patch. However, this cute printable can also be used for anyone who corresponds with a penpal!

My daughter has been enjoying having someone her age she can share her thoughts with. This program has been really great for her, especially since we are homeschoolers and the whole pandemic has also been trying for everyone. To begin with, I had no clue what she could do to keep this activity exciting but a quick search through Pinterest truly helped. There are so many fun things you can mail out and these are just a few my daughter herself has done to send out.

• • Print out an “About Me” page and fill it out
  • Print out a coloring page or activity with a Bible verse (leave blank)
  • Write out a favorite recipe
  • Draw a self portrait
  • DIY a small accessory: friendship bracelet or a hair pin
  • Send your favorite teabag
