About Me Blog & Shop family

About Me

Hello!

A little about me, Jane… a blogger, crafter, wife, mom, newbie homeschooler, and Christ follower. I started this blog & shop as a creative outlet but will also share our life experiences, faith, and maybe even some advice.

Blogger & Crafter

I have always had a love for all things crafty and an eye for the aesthetics, my favorite subject in school was of course was Art! I earned an Associates degree in fine arts but took a break as life progressed when my focus was solely on being a new mom.

With my first baby I found little time to do anything creative but shortly after having baby #2 my addiction to yarn began. Thanks to YouTube and Pinterest I became hooked, pun intended! This is when I started creating again and even started to sell my handcrafted items locally. Eventually I dabbled on selling online and Naomi’s Day Dreams was born. It has now evolved into this blog and shop in the hope to continue sharing my creative side with you all!

Homeschool & Family

Our growing family has enjoyed the small border town life for a few years but we recently became a part of the capital in Arizona! I had been a bit anxious about such a huge change in our lives but am so glad for God’s grace.

Due to this major change due we decided to homeschool our two oldest. I must say it has been hectic at times but very rewarding as we spend most of our time learning together. I also hope to share our family adventures and homeschooling experience with MasterBooks curriculum.

Faith

Finally, I am a Christian and my faith is a major part of my life. At our small town church, I was a volunteer Youth Leader and absolutely loved working with the new generations. Every aspect was dear to my heart… teaching, learning from them, and I miss them most of all. I do still volunteer at a hispanic christian radio station by maintaining their social media platforms. Both of these learning experiences are wonderful and I am just so happy to still have something to tie us with our friends back home.

All post on Faith are here.

We also have our children in Trail Life USA and American Heritage Girls in an effort to remain active and to socialize. This will be another topic we will share as they journey through these Christian programs.
